Welcome to my blog website, The Secret Path, about my own personal walk with Jesus.

Most of these posts in “Walk With Me” are about a journey through the woods walking on a path with Jesus, alone. It is my secret path.  My personal Christian journey with God. It just happens to be expressed through a picture of woods and a path. This is my 5^th year of this prayer and meditation journey.

Why  have I posted my personal walk with God?

I post them now because when I have shared them with friends – it has blessed and encouraged them. It also seemed to put a desire in their heart to draw closer to God.

The longer I thought about it the more I realized that if it blessed my friends it may even bless a larger audience that I know nothing about.

I have taken out any personal references to me from the original so that you can read it as though Jesus is speaking with you. He really would like to, you know.

Read one a day or a whole month’s worth at once. There are interesting object lessons that take place along the way. This journal spans a 5 year period. It is continuous except for a 1 year period from August 2008 to August 2009. I am sure I will someday find that journal. Then I will enter it in also. The nice thing about this journal is that even though a year is missing, you won’t notice, because they don’t necessarily build on each other, as long as you read the first month’s entries first. That is needed to understand how I entered the woods in the first place.

If you want to read from the beginning of the journey, there are 2 ways to do so:

1) Go to the oldest post month and start there. I have them listed out in months to make it easier to follow. Then you will see week 1 and the weeks will go in order for each month.

2) Once you find the first week you can go to the next week by going to the end of each week and clicking the link for the next entry.

Week 01 – Creator of the Wildflowers

Day 1

I love you. I  give myself in different ways to you everyday. Through your family, your husband, eyes of love, through the wildflowers, they touch wildness in your soul,  joy that is Me.

I am the creator of the wildflowers. They bring you joy because they are wild. They are not planted and cultivated, yet they grow and flourish; there is beauty there. Freedom. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. That is My Spirit communicating with your spirit. You are like the wild flower with spontaneity, life . Yet right now you are being cultivated and nurtured as a planted flower, a rose.

In heaven you will be as the wild flower- freedom,  joy and beauty, love, dancing and life.

Here you are subdued. I want you to flourish I want your joy to be full, yet I have made you subdued in comparison to what you will become.

Radiant for Me. My bride, Beloved, Lover, prepared for Me, Beauty resplendent.

Now you are growing. I am cultivating you.  Planting deep.  Storms won’t tear you out.  Storms will come you- will not be destroyed. You are Mine. Joy comes in the morning.

Spring is here. Oh, enjoy the dance with Me. Let your heart be light, for you are loved.  Rejoice in Your Beloved.  Make Me yours.

Walk with Me daily. Meet Me in this place each day and I will show you new things of My love. You will be amazed.

“Will you show me beauties as we walk on this road together? Will you share the mysteries of Your creation with me.? Can we do this daily?

Yes, meet Me here.

Can I come more than once a day?

Always. I love you.  You want to know Me more; I am glad.  I will show you more of Me.  My word will be made new for you. It is real it is unchanging; yet you miss some things because you close your eyes and if not our eyes – your heart.

Lord, take me places as we take this new adventure together.

I will. The sunflower raises its head to the sun; that is what I want you to do to Me.

Week 02 – The Brazen Altar

Day 1

The brazen altar.

Let me lay you down on this altar and I will raise you up again. Trust Me. I am God.  Walk with Me NEW.  Kneel before My throne.  Be anxious for nothing.  Trust Me. I am holy, yet I love you.  Obey Me and My word.  Live for Me, not the world.  Stay separated for Me.  Bow before Me.  Set aside time as a sacrifice to Me.

Week 03 – “Keep Your Eyes on Me.”

Day 1

Lord Jesus I am here again to spend some time with You.

After my reading today I just want to say thank you for your grace – Your absolute grace. Though I sin, even when I strive to do good things, Your grace covers me. I don’t have to be like Tolstoy – in despair because he couldn’t keep Your laws. You show us who God is through the “ Sermon on the Mount”.

Thank you Jesus for dying for Me; your hands with permanent wounds that remind me.

I did it for you.

Fill me with your peace, Lord as I walk with You. My eyes are lifted up to You as a sunflower is to the sun. Just as You said.

Day 2

Keep your eyes on Me, child. Don’t forget to keep your eyes on Me.  I love you.

Today is the day of salvation. Walk with Me in peace, not striving. We are together on this journey.

Jesus I long to be with You – for all of our people to be with You. Come, Lord Jesus.  Jesus I also want to actually be with You, but meanwhile please bring me as close as I can to You.

Peace is upon you, My love.  Relax in me.  Stop striving.  Love Me.  Follow me. Grow in Me.

The lilies glorify Me with their beauty.

Lord I want to glorify you with my life.

Teach your children about me. Show them my love. I will bless you, little teacher. You are my friend. Come let us walk new paths that I will take you down. Remember to walk in My peace.

Week 04 – “Follow Me.”

Day 1

Hello Jesus, I come again to walk with You; thank You for Your grace. Why is it I can spend a wonderful time with you and then scream at my kids next moment?

I would think spending time with you would make me more restful and holy.

Let’s walk.

Thank you for Your peace of yesterday. May it be upon today as well. May it be upon the school day, too.

I will show you the way. Come let us walk. Keep your eyes open and follow Me. Take My hand and I will lead you. I will lead you through to paths unknown to you. Walk in My way and in My truth. I am Truth. Your own way is only part right; I will lead you to paths of righteousness.

Thank You Jesus; would You give me strength to walk in Your spirit today? Can You please help me hold my temper in class today?

Thank you that you are taking care of us.

Peace. Trust Me to do what is best.

Week 05 – My Gift

Day 1

Lord I will not keep talking today. May we walk together in peace and harmony.

What is your next step?

I  don’t know.

Trust me and it will be shown to you.

I am thankful for the life You have given me, but I feel I am supposed to loosen my grip of holding on to what I want.

Lord, it is like prying my fingers off a pole I am holding onto for dear life. You want me to put my security and my trust in You – not in my circumstances or in my desires and dreams.

Here, Lord is my gift of my plans, priorities, hopes and dreams. Lord, I give it to you.

I offer it as a sacrifice to You.

It is good. I accept this gift.

What do I do now?

Patience and walk with Me.

Where are we going?

To new territory unventured.

What does that mean?

You’ll see.  Have patience and all will be realized.

My gift …You don’t have to open it because you know what is inside already.  It is what makes me me.

Let peace be in your heart.   Don’t be anxious.  Let Me work in you and through you.  Hold your hands loose to your plans.   Things will go as I have planned.

Yes, Lord, I will walk with you; I will do this, too.
